Enrichment & Co-Curricular

At The Beaulieu Park School, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our enrichment programme is designed to inspire curiosity, develop confidence and provide pupils with memorable experiences that support their personal, social and academic development.

Throughout the year, children take part in a wide range of activities including educational visits, residential experiences, class assemblies, performances, sporting events, national celebration days and wellbeing workshops. Opportunities such as visits to Colchester Zoo, Danbury Outdoors, Shakespeare's Globe and the Year 6 residential allow pupils to deepen their learning through first-hand experiences.

We celebrate key national events including Science Week, World Book Day, Children's Mental Health Week, UK Parliament Week, Number Day, Remembrance Day, Children in Need and Red Nose Day, helping pupils to develop their understanding of the wider world and their role within it.

Our enrichment offer also includes sports competitions, Bikeability, road safety programmes, the Mini Marathon, creative performances such as Christmas productions and Year 6 productions, alongside opportunities for leadership, community engagement and personal growth.

By providing a rich variety of experiences, we aim to nurture our ARRK values of Aspiration, Respect, Responsibility and Kindness, ensuring that every child leaves us with the knowledge, skills and confidence to thrive both now and in the future.
